What is a fitting?
A Shepherd's fitting is more than just taking your measurements. We want to get to know you, understand your style, and help you choose from thousands of fabrics to get the perfect garment. After your consultation, one of our world-class fitters will fit a garment to your exact shape. We're not just taking a jacket off the rack and tailoring it to you – we're cutting and sewing a garment from scratch so that every panel and every seam is built around you.

When you walk in to a Shepherd' s store, we don't want to just measure you and get you out the door. We want to get to know you, understand your style and your needs, and make the perfect garment specifically for you.
Once we understand who you are and what you need, we will go over all of the details and make personalized recommendations to fit your style and needs.
After refining all of the details, one of our world-class fitters will spend time fitting you for your garment. Everyone has a different leg to torso ratio, most have uneven shoulders, some men's arms are further forward on their torso. All of these considerations affect the fit of your clothing. At Shepherd's, we take all of this and more into account in your fitting to ensure we deliver the highest quality, best fitting garment you've ever owned.
Once your fitting is done, we will have every panel and every seam cut and sewn to fit you and your specific shape - not a mannequin or a model. When it's finished in 4-6 weeks, we'll ship it to you with our custom wooden hanger and garment bag.
It's rare that alterations are needed on any of our garments. But if you need anything to be adjusted, we will cover any alterations up to $50 at your local tailor and not them for future orders.
